I’m a freelance writer specializing in travel (for the BootsnAll Family Travel Logue and the Perceptive Travel blog,) NHRA drag racing for Fast Machines and Web 2.0/social media for Every Dot Connects and this blog. I also teach Web 2.0 workshops; see the Every Dot Connects Facebook business page.
Although I do a lot of online writing, until recently I’ve never started a blog from the ground up, all by myself – my other blogs all have set templates, and/or are collaborative efforts in some way.
I decided in late 2008 that it was time to build and play around in my very own little bloggy sandbox, and write about things that I don’t cover in depth elsewhere.
This site is the primary content anchor for my training and consulting work at the intersection of travel/tourism and social media.
The blog’s name is a riff on the subhead on my Web site – “I guide you to the good stuff.”
Thanks for visiting.
